Sullec PTY LTD are a recognised and accredited member of the Clean Energy Council (CEC). This is important because to receive your solar rebate in NSW, you must have your solar system (and battery if applicable), registered with CEC and installed with a CEC accredited installer.

WHAT IS SOLAR AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Solar power works by taking the light and heat from the sun and converting it into energy for you to use for electricity or heat within your property. This is captured via the solar panels on your roof, which travels through to your inverter (usually installed near your main power/switch board). The inverter takes the electricity which is in Direct Current (DC) form, and converts it into Alternating Current (AC) for you to utilise. If your home generates more solar power than what is required for use, the leftover energy will feed back into the grid in exchange for a credit, also known as net metering....?
HOW DOES THE SOLAR REBATE WORK? AM I ELIGABLE?
Yes, everyone is eligible for the Solar rebate in NSW. The rebate is made up of Small-scale technology Certificates (STC's). STC's fluctuate, and depending on your house location and size of solar panel system, you can claim up to a certain amount of STC's to reduce the cost of your system. To receive the rebate, your panels, inverter and batteries (if applicable), need to be registered with the Clean Energy Council (CEC). You also need a CEC accredited installer to install your system (Sullec PTY LTD is accredited with CEC). At Sullec, this rebate is already deducted from your total cost on your invoice. We will take care of the claim for you, so you can receive your rebate instantly, and don't have to worry about this part!

This means we take the time needed to install your system with care and pride in our work, we do not rush our jobs or get incentives for finishing early. HOW DO I KNOW HOW BIG MY SOLAR SYSTEM SHOULD BE?
Sullec can help you to determine this, however, we generally calculate it by taking your daily kWh energy requirement and dividing it by your peak sun hours (based on the BOM) to get the kW output. Then we divide the kW output by your panel's efficiency, to get the estimated number of solar panels you'll need for your system. It can also depend on other factors as; your roof size, budget.
